Hawkcraig ESUExplorer units are the fourth section in the Scout Group for those aged between 14 and 18.

Explorer Scouts are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities as part of their programme including traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking, as well as a wider spectrum of adventurous activities, from abseiling to zorbing.

Our Explorers take part in events and activities delivered across the District, allowing them the opportunity to socialise and work with other local Explorer Units as well as national Scout Scotland events.

Our Group is partnered with the Hawkcraig Explorer Scout Unit who meet every other week during term time at the Church Hall in the centre of the village. Please Contact Us for our current meeting schedule.

Moving On

When Explorers approach 18 they can, if they wish, start the process of moving on to the Scout Network.

Waiting List

Currently we have no waiting list to join the Unit.

Should spaces become limited, priority will be given to Scouts moving up from our Scout Troop.
